Yellow Shark Studio is still open for professional clients. Bookings for periods when Gloucestershire is outside lockdown or Tier 4 will still be taken for other clients.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Where a booking needs to be postponed because of:
· a change in the law,
· a client or engineer contracting symptoms of Covid
· a client or engineer being required to self-isolate due to contact with a confirmed positive case or awaiting a test result
· a client shielding
we will postpone the booking until a mutually agreed time. If a session must be cancelled because time is of the essence, we will refund all fees for the session (less any for time and work already incurred).
Any gift vouchers issued from September 2020 will be valid until 31st December 2021.
All clients and staff must adhere to government guideline for self-isolating. If any participant in a session is feeling unwell, exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19, or required to self-isolate, they must not attend the studio and should contact us immediately.
On arrival at the studio, all clients and personnel must use the provided hand sanitiser. Hand sanitiser and soap will be available in all bathrooms.
Clients should check-in using the NHS Covid-19 app and QR code at the entrance.
Masks must be worn at all times in the building when not performing, and we recommend that for long sessions, clients bring multiple masks and a bag to store them in. Masks must not be disposed of at the studio.
Only one person should use the stairs or be in the bottom hall at a time.
Kitchen facilities are only to be used by staff and clearly marked as such. Clients to bring their own food and water where possible. Signage reminding staff to wipe down kitchen touch points (i.e. kettle handles/coffee machines) to be clearly displayed and antibacterial spray provided to do this. Only one person may be in the kitchen at a time.
All clients must use the bathroom in the basement; staff will use a separate toilet. Only one person to be in the bathroom at a time.
No public transport to be used to get to the studios, or home from the studio in the event that a session is more than one day in length. Clients to cover cab charges for engineers / assistants to and from the studio if required.
In the event of clients not adhering to the guidelines the session will be stopped and they will be asked to leave the building. In this event the session costs will be non-refundable.
Clients are to limit the number of people attending sessions to the absolute minimum in order to streamline the number of people passing through the studios. Unless all onsite participants isolate for 10 days before the session (and continue to throughout) and provide evidence of a negative Covid test in the 48 hours prior to the session, the maximum number of on-site participants is limited to three – two in the live room, and one in the dry room.
All attendees names and contact details to be provided before the session. Only those on the booking form will be allowed access to the building. Non-essential parties to join via Teams/Zoom.
All staff will be briefed thoroughly on hygiene and cleanliness and the increased need to uphold this throughout the studios and in communal areas. Engineers and assistants to commit to washing their hands at regular intervals, particularly when entering, or re-entering buildings.
‘Deep clean’ intensive cleaning organised with cleaning partners with a focus on anti-viral coverage on all touchpoints.
Alcohol wipes to be available in communal areas and in studios for wiping down of touchpoints/door handles/light switches before use and at regular intervals. Clients encouraged to bring their own keyboard/mouse to use in the studio if preferred.
Assistants/engineers who are asked to do food runs by clients should not handle cash – payments should be made by card only.
